There's been a lot of changes recently in my life so with a fresh start comes a fresh journal and first for 2009. Happy Belated New Year to all!

My New Year's resolution was/is to do things more for me, don't be scared and just go for it. Trying to stick to it, and while there's always a few things on my mind as usual I'm feeling a bit more confident about things. After the late rush to finish all my work for a university project I've been taking a break over the last week or so with it all. I got my grades back recently and got some really positive feedback and much much better than expected grades. All gives me more confidence of course but kind of a burden now as I'm having to push even further.

I passed my project idea past my then teacher over the summer and he dismissed it - first time i really ignored his advice and I got my best ever grades Anyway just wanted to say thanks to Sam n' Jamie and couple of others for their help over the project with modelling

There was also the dissertation where i analysed and expressed my own opinions on how censorship in the mass media is eroding photography's credibility - i did really well in that too, but kind of made me realise how hard/possibly impossible in the future it is to portray events truthfully in the media - something I'd like to do after university.
